My sweet little man is 20 months old!!!
Where has the time gone? It seems like a few months ago I was brining this precious little bitty home from the hospital...3AM feedings...breast feeding...worrying about everything....
And now...it is SO FUN! Words are just spilling out of that precious little man. He says something new each and everyday.
He loves to come over and grab your hand and say "See, see" and then takes you where he wants you to go. He wants to share everything with us. It is precious.
He loves to play with his magnet numbers on the fridge. When he wants to play, he says "Two, two" and goes to the little drawer by the fridge where we keep them.
He loves to sit in the car and pretend like he is driving. It's his favorite thing.
Jaxson loves the park. Everytime we drive past it he says, "Go, go?"
He has the kindest little heart. He LOVES people and gives the sweetest hugs & kisses. He worries about anyone that is hurt, and brings tears to my eyes when he asks for Momma. I adore him.
I made a list of all the words that he says. I know it's boring for most of you, but I want to be able to look back later and see.
Momma, Dadda, Gigi, Grandpa, Pappa, Valerie, BeeBee (what he calls Bandit), Mae Mae, Jim, Spoon, Please (peas, peas), Thank You, Amen, Book, Sit, Hot, Uh-Oh, Brush, Oh No!, Car, Truck, Chicken, Truck, Tree, Ew, Kitty, Dog, No, Yeah, More, Eat, Night Night, Hi, Bye, Ball, Juice, Milk, Cracker, Bananas, Shoes, Tee Tee, More, Chip, Yes, Grover, Big Bird, Cookie, Baby, Mmmmm, Burr, Puppy, Woof, Pizza, Pretzel, Go, One, Two, Choo Choo, Eyes, See, Santa, Woah!, Achoo, Bubbles, Pee Pee, Where Did It Go?, I See, Roar, Meow, Fish, Mine, Me Too, Teeth.
I'm so proud of my sweet little man. I can't even remember what life was like before we had him! I am so thankful to God for such a smart, perfect, healthy little boy. I am honored and humbled that he chose us to be his parents.

Go Texans!!
So, football season has come to an end. I'm heartbroken. This year was so incredibly fun!
It was an AMAZING year to be an Aggie!!!! Johnny Football is my hero!
We got to go to the first SEC game EVER!
And we watched my team beat Hubby's Bearcats...sorry babe!
And...we beat the National Champions! Even Jaxson got in on the action...
Take thank Bama!
And, we had a great year as Texans fans too. This was the first year we had our season tickets, and they were worth every penny. We tailgate with two other couples, and always have the greatest time. Our little tailgate has grown and we always welcome any friends that might be able to stop by. And...we named ourselves this year! We Are Texan Tailgaters!! I love it!
We were even featured on the local news this season!
It's like our date night. We love it. And I miss it already!
And we get some amazing time with great friends.
We went to our first charity dinner for The Texans this year. We had a great time, and it resulted in my new crushes on Owen Daniels and JJ Watt. Oops.
Ben Tate. War Eagle!
JJ Watt. He is the sweetest thing!
Even though his season ended up on a rough note, I still love Matt Schaub.
Like all good things, this season had to come to an end. I am counting the days till the first home game!!!

Promotion!
I have some super exciting news...
I got a PROMOTION at work! I fought for it...and it is finally official! I'm so excited to start my in my new role. I've been selling digital forensic software for the past yearish...and I'm super excited to move into a more visible role with more responsibilities. I'm covering 11 states in the Rocky Mountain Region. I'll be traveling half the time, which will be an interesting adjustment for my family. Hubby has been so incredibly supportive and is on board with this exciting new path. I can't wait to get started! I am just overwhelmed with the blessings that God has provided my family!

Christmas Recap
We had a crazy but fun Christmas at the Ellis house this year!
Hubby and I always wanted a big home so that we could house all of our families and make sure that everyone was comfortable and had a place to stay. This year was our first Christmas in our new home, and we were able to do just that.
My parents, sister, her boyfriend, and my Pappa came to spend the weekend with us. It was such a blessing to have a room for everyone. Val and Mauney had to sleep on an air mattress because we don't have a fourth bed in that room, but I think they were fine with it.
On Christmas Eve, my in laws came over around 2PM for some visiting and eating before Christmas Eve service at our church. This was the first time that we took Jaxson to big church, and it will be the last for awhile. It's just not fair to expect him to sit still for that long. He was so funny, he went from person to person...from Daddy to Momma to Gamm-E to GiGi to Grandpa...and back again. It was sweet. And, after the last prayer, he let our a big AMEN! and everyone loved it. It's so sweet to hear him say it. It warms my heart.
That night, we had our first meal in our dining room! My Daddy made his famous "Daddy Loins" and we ate like kings. Check out the beautiful centerpiece that my mom made me. I keep telling her that she needs to start selling them. It makes the entire room beautiful!
Christmas day was a whirlwind. I don't know that I will try to have both sets of family all together anymore on Christmas. I didn't feel like I was able to enjoy anyone or any part of the day because I was constantly making sure that everything was going well, that everyone was okay, cleaning, cooking, and trying to spend time with everyone. It was nearly impossible to soak up the wonderfullness that Christmas is. But, we had a wonderful, blessed Christmas and I am so thankful!

Pappa bought Jaxson his first train set. My Daddy had one growing up, and I think it is so special that Pappa started that tradition with Jaxson too. Here is the entire family trying to figure out how to put it together.
