I adore Christmas cards. I love getting the mail and discovering that we have a Christmas card in there from friends or family. I hang them in the kitchen and it makes me happy to look at them all. I don't care if they have pictures, a note, or even an actual signature. I just adore all of them. So, last year being our first married Christmas, I decided that I would like to save all of these Christmas cards so that we can go back and look at them each year. I think it will be fun to watch our friends families change and grow over the years. Since I don't want to keep them in a shoebox like everything else senimental that I own (haha!) I decided to make a scrapbook of them that we can add to each year. And, we can store it away with the Christmas stuff, so we only see it once a year and it's more special.
Here it is!
I am terrible at scrapbooking. I don't invest the time and money into that I should. But, it works :)
Here's where this year's cards will go!!
What do you do with your Christmas cards after the season?

i always keep our cards (not just christmas cards but other cards too) and i just put them in a box---not very creative but I hate to throw them away.
This is just a great idea!! I need to do this!
I love this idea. I never know what to do with all the Christmas cards people send me when the holidays are over. I usually just put them away in a box. I like this idea though because then it becomes a book we can look at each year.
Thanks so much ladies! I keep all of our other cards in a shoe box too, I need to start scrap books for all of them!
Sadly, I throw them out! I keep close friends and families, but throw out others. I am going to start a scrapbook for my fiance and I's cards so we can look back on our cards throughout the years.
