July 4th

We had such a wonderful July 4th this year!

We are so lucky to have amazing neighbors.  We headed down to our block party where the men set off fireworks, grilled amazing food, and handed out sparklers for the little ones.  We have lots of great kiddos on our block, and I enjoyed watching them play until their hearts content.

I made these cupcakes for the festivities...they were so yummy!

And, in my quest to be crafty...I made this!!!  My good friend Lenti said, "Well Mish, it looks great for tinsel on a round thing..."  haha!  Hubby liked it, but is ready for it to be out of our kitchen.  Oh well...on to the next wreath : )

Here was my other attempt at decorations...I know, I know, I'll do better next year, I promise.

Even Bandit dressed up for the festivities!  He had such a great time, McKenna, the sweetest little girl I know, LOVES to walk him around the block.  She wore him out and fed him some treats.  They are not a doggie family, so she calls Bandit her adopted doggie.  She brings him treats and toys.  It is just the sweetest thing!
