Merry Christmas!

I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!  We did!  We went to Dallas to spend Christmas with my family - My Mom and Daddy, Sister, Emommy & Pappa!  It was wonderful to have so many of our loved ones together.  We just missed Edaddy and Aunt Cinny so much!  He is still in the hospital trying to recover from his surgery.  He is not doing well.  Could you please pray for him?  Thank you so very much.

Here are some pictures from the weekend!
Hubby and me before Christmas Eve Service.  We didn't go to Christmas Eve Service growing up, probably because we were always traveling across the country to our Grandparent's houses.  But this would have been the first year of his whole life that Hubby wouldn't have gone to Church on Christmas Eve, so my whole family, for the first time ever, went to Christmas Eve Service together.  It made me so happy.

Me and My Sister

Bandit was worn out from all of the excitement!  He and Hubby watch TV together like this every evening.  I'm worried about what will happen to this time when the baby comes!

Our little baby's first Christmas gift from my parents.  It is a Noah's Arc book.  Thanks Gigi and Bud!

My sister made each of us picture collages from throughout the years.  They are so sweet and beautiful!  Here is Mom opening hers.

Our baby boy gave everyone bibs with their names on them. They were a hit : )  I think Aunt Vallie was the most excited of all!

Grandpa Bud decided to wear his :)

My cutie Pappa

My Sweet Emommy.  She is having such a hard time remembering things, and physically, she cannot even stand or get out of her chair alone.  It is very sad and very trying on her and my parents.  Please pray for all of them while they go through this time.

Bandit sleeping with his reindeer that Santa brought him.  He had too much Christmas fun!

My parent's gave us this beautiful frame for the baby's first year.  Isn't it beautiful?  I am so proud to have it.

Here is the box that my sister made me.  I will treasure it forever!

My Mom's tree.  Isn't it amazing?!  I aspire to have a Christmas just like hers someday - haha!

She wraps the best presents!

I love her bows.  She said she started making special bows years and years ago when she used to get her presents wrapped at Rich's department store and they used ornaments in their bows.  I never knew that until this year!

This pink beauty was for me!

Love the peacock one.

Her mantle

She made this garland.  I can't wait until we have a mantle in our home so she can make one for us!

I love all her little details!

I hope you had a wonderful family filled with the Magic of Christmas, God's Love, Family & Friends.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Our Home at Christmas

I love love love Christmas.  I love the tree, the glitter, the lights...everything!  Here are some pictures of our tree and our home this year.
Our tree!  It is not matchy or designer store quality, but each of these ornaments mean something to us.  They are from trips, gifts from loved ones, and very fond memories.  My parents have me an ornament each year, and I have them all on our tree.  I love them.  Putting the tree up is a beautiful walk down memory lane each year.

This was my favorite bow this year.  Green and glitter?  Yes please!

Our first Christmas crystal ornament, and my Aggie one!  Two of my faves :)

I love wrapped presents!!

A few little Christmas touches on our baker's rack

Hubby's peguin candles and the beautiful flower my Mom gave us last year

How fun are these trees?  They are made of glass beads and seashells!  My Aunt Cinny made them - can you believe it??!!  I am so proud to have them.

Here's a close up shot, because I just can't resist :)

What is your favorite part of decorating for Christmas?

Neighborhood Christmas Party!

We had our Neighborhood Progressive Christmas Party Last Weekend!  We look forward to this each year, and always have such an amazing time with our fun neighbors.  We go from house to house, spending 30 minutes at each house. This years theme was the Alphabet. Each house drew a letter and served food and drink that started with that letter. We drew A, and Hubby had the great idea to make a theme - An Aggie Tailgate!!! Our house was a big hit! Here are a few pictures from the night -

We served sausage, shrimp jalapeno poppers (our good friend Kenneth made them - amazing!), appletinis, and Aggie Jello Shots.  YUMMY!

I had to include this one - how beautiful is that sunset???

I love watching people enjoy themselves at our home.  It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling : )

Here's the whole group - I love our Mallory Bridge friends!!!

There were many of these throughout the evening (not for me of course ; )

So, one of our neighbors drew the letter G.  Look at this Gingerbread scene they made!!  It tasted as good as it looked!  She also made homemade cheese grits, to which I helped myself to three a couple of helpings.

My Mother In Law made me this tree - isn't it the cutest??  I love everything Aggie!

I just had to include this picture of Bandit with his Christmas bell.

Merry Early Christmas!!!
